Well this was a fun project. Made a new quick machinima video for you all in CS:S and Garrysmod 10 released on the Machinima youtube channel. Pretty solid. Here’s the description:
With all the talk of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive coming out in 2012, it was decided that there finally should be a Counter-Strike movie. From the creator of CS For Kids and Source Wars comes this machinima mock trailer. Terrorists versus Counter-Terrorists, who will win in this battle over a bunch of big boxes?
Hey. I haven’t been checking the website as much, mostly because I have been AWOL. Hood life. But I keep facebook updated and still check YouTube and go on Steam. While I was working and prepping for moving out last summer, I edited a few things. And right now I’m just starting on a new CS:S machinima as well, so if you’re not following the youtube or facebook, start it up! Possible resurgence going on since I don’t have much to do at my new college town.

PEACE BRAHS. Leave me some comments on the JsXanatos YouTube page.
I want to make a quick shoutout to a guy who’s always been a part of the moviemaking effort, and without his old contributions, many of the older videos couldn’t have happened. That person is MrSentual (referred to as MrSensational in Gman Squad: The Lost Tapes). He was the engineer in a TF2 Western, wrote the Game of the Year sketch in Gman Squad 8, and has done a hell of a lot with custom mapping (the busted-down door on de_dust in Source Wars, the explosive train in Gman Squad 5) and skinning. Pretty much everything. He and his voice didn’t get recognized as much as say, Boris or HKSniper, but he sure as shit was my partner in crime for a lot of our machinimas. Hi MrSentual.
Two new videos in a week? What the F? If you liked the Gman Squad, there’s no way you won’t like this. This is a new video made entirely of footage from the 2008 Gman Squad Episodes 1 through 4 timeframe. I feel this is how the series should have always been like, editing-style wise. All the footage is either alternate takes or never before seen extras. Ten fun minutes. Check it out -
A new short machinima video that’s a take on James Bond and the spy genre. Few Goldfinger references in there, especially the obvious one near the end. I liked making this, pretty fun stuff.
This is the project I’ve been posting about the past couple of months, and the pilot episode has finally reached completion. A lot of pretty legit editing and Garrysmod recording went into this. It already looks as if the response is very positive, so start thinking Episodes 2 and 3 pretty soon. It’s a Garrysmod Machinima comedy involving zombies, and, well, this one just happens to involve a zombie hooker. Sounds like wonderful subject matter for little Johnny. Enjoy.
What began as just another day in the life of Rod Masters suddenly takes a drastic turn when the escort service sends a rather eerie lady to his apartment.
I’d like to hear what you think! Don’t forget the post-credits joke. Written by Dan Brooks and Produced by the cool cats at Machinima.com. Thanks to Bartender, MGern, and MrSentual for helping me split up the faceposing work.
Coming soon! Really excited about seeing this one get uploaded. Had a lot of fun (and Garrysmod hardship) with this. Gotta hand it to the two guys from Machinima.com that helped make this possible, and those who helped facepose. Should be right around Saturday or Sunday for the release.
Well, it’s here. Getting all sorts of interesting comments already. “Tears of joy were streaming down my face when I saw this in the subscription box,” “See you in a year,” “So good you will feel the dust!”
Check it out. Our popular, infamous series is back with a new, crazy episode. Number eight. We even have a nice little cameo from Sam T. in here.
Episode 8 of the Gman Squad is well into production now. This will be a short site post because there’s really not much else to say other than that. Don’t want to give too much away, and there’s not a whole lot happening otherwise.
Oh, our Team Fortress 2 machinima Unfriendly Fire is an official screening selection for the 2010 Machinima Expo. Woohoo! Other than that, all’s been quiet on the western front. Some new projects will likely begin after this is completed.
Get ready for the new Gman Squad episode soon. Maybe a couple weeks from now?
Sup bros!!! New video up, this is another brief machinima mini-tutorial for you Garrysmod dawgs. The last tutorial (Episode 1 – Green screens and spaceships) was a little too specific, so this one is a bit more vague all-around. It’s basically about using all of the Garrysmod tricks and your console to be able to make more for your movie entirely by yourself, without having to deal with an online server and inviting all your bros to help you out in your movie. So check it out, honky.
