I know. It’s been a while. We’re still not coming out with a Gman Squad tomorrow. A lot of things still need writing done. I’ve been busy. I poured orange juice in my cereal today. But this week I’ve been the most excited about making machinima last since we had fun making the two Source Wars episodes.
The once ill-fated Team Fortress 2 machinima I was talking about that fell victim to faceposer breaking is well under production and should be completed as soon as this weekend. I’m super stoked about it, because, even for a four minute machinima short, it is probably the most legit effort I’ve ever put forth in a video from a production oriented standpoint. Again. The creators of the Gman Squad talking. Expect a nice blend of action and for-fun dialogue.
We got a lot of good responses to our first episode of the “Gmod Machinima Tricks” series. Yes, it’s going to at least be somewhat of a series because I have plenty of ideas to fill a second episode. It’s about the concept of how more often than not, you can be a one-man machinima crew in games like Garrysmod (using the console and tools) and even now that I think of it, TF2. You can expect this to follow closely after the TF2 machinima’s release, which again, should be next week sometime.
See, all this on and off bullshitting wasn’t for nothing? Guess I better say we have enough ideas to make a new Source Wars and Gman Squad episode after that too. At least four things that are quite doable! Keep in touch, and expect the TF2 short and GMOD Machinima Tricks ep. 2 to be here soon.
