I guess it’s a good time to be under the weather again. With Garrysmod Machinima Tricks Episode 1 out as of last week, a project that was completed due to an update breaking the source SDK under the orange box engine, it seems we’ll need to scramble for some fixes. A Team Fortress 2 machinima which I was hoping to crank out in time for my first video comeback in a while, can’t be worked on until I fix this (unless I go with the ever so lazy shortcut approach of not lipsyncing characters and dialogue). On top of that, I’ve been sick on and off the past two weeks. Probably doesn’t help that I’m stressed the hell out too.
However, you may have noticed on the Machinima.com youtube page that I guest starred in a “Director’s Spotlight” video, a weekly video magazine the guys from Machinima.com put out to show the uploads from all of the directors in the current week. I got to do the voiceovers for the entire thing in an impromptu matter, so check it out, I’m pretty fond of the joke at the very end:

It wouldn’t happen to be with some of the Gmod SWEPs would it? All the weapons I have all take the form of being held as a Pistol ever since this update. :/ And I belive Ross Scott has been Encountering similar Bugs and Errors as you have, while making the next Episode of Civil Protection episode. I think I remember him mentioning the Faceposing thing as well. I suggest you talk to him.
Oh. Before I forget, is cleaning your addons the ONLY way to help make Garry’s Mod run faster?

I bet you’re hoping Valve unveil Source 2 at E3 soon. That’ll give Machinima a lot more to work with whenever its released.

Oh yes Doug, we really would beleive you, the person who can’t use propper english over Xantos or someone else. The whole crackbone thing was apparently, and I bet was, just a rumon. all of crackbone’s appearances are either ventrilo recordings (it’s pretty commonplace that if something funny happens on ventrilo, someone’s going to record it) or him working directly with us in-game by helping record demos (zombie mod todd) or outside of game to do voiceovers (soldiers of misfortune). kthx.

I can see that due to the fact of the quality. Plus it’s kind of obvious since how else would you get the exact needed lines. Also when you listen closely you can hear other sounds, almost silent, in the background.

this has nothing to do with the faceposer but ‘crackbone’ has got a new machinima show and channel, but wouldnt you guys host his shows, its a fake and very bad, just wondered what you (xanatos) or crackbone or any of the janus clan have to say
