2/22/09 EDIT: Should be coming out later this week!
In our latest WIP news, we are currently well into the production of a new machinima series called Source Wars, in which two different Source engine games/mods will square off in one arena with mock sports commentary. This upcoming debut will feature a team of Counter-Strike Source players versus a group of Garrysmodders, with each team using the weaponry unique to their games while adhering to the gameplay of Counter-Strike on the level de_dust. The Counter-Strike players will take the role of the Terrorist side, trying to plant the bomb, and the Garrysmodders will be like the Counter-Terrorists, attempting to stop the opposing team as two announcers document the battle. There will even be a few cameo roles for some of the players to look out for. Coming soon – this should be completed sometime this next weekend for a following weekday release. Just not sure when yet. I see Source Wars as being at least a 3-episode series, with each episode having 2 different games/mods per video.
Secondly, the machinima.com guys that we work with have set us up with a Director’s Page on facebook. It’s pretty cool! I’m going to use it as a secondary place to post updates, lots of pictures, links, and anything else that comes to mind. You know, I don’t have Steam, or Garrysmod, but I will next Christmas, as I’m getting the Valve Complete Pack(How many games is it again..20..sumthin)
Anyway, I can’ say which is better, but this video, and it’s sequels, will be EPIC.

Sounds great! But for an episode you should do ZPS and half life (death match maybe). It could be kinda like G-Man squad meets zombies… But that’s just my idea I don’t write this stuff.

So, they ARE making more gman squad episodes, i know it. Theyre just too popular to be left there. And they know it. What i suggest them to make is something like source wars with 2 different games trying to complete Ravenholm. Like The Red Team from tf2 and Gordon/Alyx go and kill zombies. This is just a suggestion, but loads of people liked the Ravenholm chapter AND Source wars. Emerging 2 different games is an idea to adapt into several stages. Good luck, xanatos.
