Update 3/3/09 – bloopers video released!
Our newest machinima video, Source Wars: Counter-Strike versus Garrysmod, is out today! A team of Garrysmod players go up against a team of Counter-Strike players in their own game, each side using their own weapons. Includes a cameo from Smooth Few Film’s Cortez of the Leet World and a teaser at the very end for the next episode! Can’t say too much more without giving some key ideas away, so check it out.

Spring break is around the corner, so I’m going to be heading off to Florida this year. Michigan weather is just plain awful so it’ll be good to get away. Thus, as far as our next project ETA goes and what it will be, I’m not certain. I would like to make something else first before we make the second episode of Source Wars, though. Will keep you posted after Spring break. Thanks and hope you enjoy the video.
Also, after that, check out the blooper reel:

2/22/09 EDIT: Should be coming out later this week!
In our latest WIP news, we are currently well into the production of a new machinima series called Source Wars, in which two different Source engine games/mods will square off in one arena with mock sports commentary. This upcoming debut will feature a team of Counter-Strike Source players versus a group of Garrysmodders, with each team using the weaponry unique to their games while adhering to the gameplay of Counter-Strike on the level de_dust. The Counter-Strike players will take the role of the Terrorist side, trying to plant the bomb, and the Garrysmodders will be like the Counter-Terrorists, attempting to stop the opposing team as two announcers document the battle. There will even be a few cameo roles for some of the players to look out for. Coming soon – this should be completed sometime this next weekend for a following weekday release. Just not sure when yet. I see Source Wars as being at least a 3-episode series, with each episode having 2 different games/mods per video.

Secondly, the machinima.com guys that we work with have set us up with a Director’s Page on facebook. It’s pretty cool! I’m going to use it as a secondary place to post updates, lots of pictures, links, and anything else that comes to mind. If you’re registered to facebook, you can go to our page and become a fan by clicking on “Become a fan”. Here’s the link: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Xanatos/48999482881
Also, for the past few weeks there have been a few updates on our jokeful (and incredibly sarcastic) Cast page. Some of our guys are still in the process of coming up with material for their mini-bios, so more revisions to come.
